Applications for Graduate Student Admissions for the 2026–2027 Fall Semester
Detailed information regarding the admission process for graduate programs and any prospective modifications will be announced on the official website of our Graduate School; therefore, stakeholders/applicants are required to monitor the platform regularly. Both applications and final registrations will be conducted online. Prior to submitting an application, it is of utmost importance that candidates thoroughly review the subsequent sections and relevant announcements, specifically under the headings of Important Dates, General Application Requirements, Quotas and Specific Conditions, Evaluation, Online Application, and Required Documents.
►► IMPORTANT NOTICE !!!
► Due to technical disruptions experienced on Microsoft servers, communication issues are occurring with email addresses carrying extensions such as @hotmail.com, @outlook.com, @outlook.com.tr, @msn.com, @live.com, @windowslive.com, etc. It is required that the aforementioned email addresses not be used when communicating with the Graduate School and creating accounts within the Application System.
►The educational information retrieved from YÖKSİS is used as the basis for evaluating applicants. Applicants should verify their educational information (GPA, program name, etc.) via the E-GOVERNMENT portal; if there are any discrepancies, they should contact the university from which they are graduating or have graduated to ensure the necessary updates are made.
►For master's degree programs, both bachelor's degree holders and final-year undergraduate students who have not yet graduated may apply on a conditional basis.
►Conditional application is not available for Doctoral programs. Only candidates holding a Master's degree (whose graduation status has been updated in YÖKSİS) will be able to complete their applications.

Attention to International Students:
►The announced quota is for international students who are self-funded.
►The evaluation and ranking of candidates for international student quotas are conducted independentely within their respective applicant pool.
►The ALES and Foreign Language requirements are specified (in the quotas table).
►A certificate issued or approved by Gazi University TÖMER is mandatory. Our applicants who do not have a TÖMER Certificate and desire to certify their Turkish Proficiency Certificate obtained from institutions other than our University, please apply to Gazi University TÖMER(https://tomer.gazi.edu.tr/).
►The documents to be uploaded to the system by international candidates are specified at the bottom of the page.
►Gazi University Directive on the Admission of International Students Article 11-(2): Gazi University Directive on the Admission of International Students Article 11-(2): Candidates applying to graduate programs must certify that they possess at least a B2 level of Turkish proficiency in the Turkish proficiency examination conducted within the framework of the principles determined by the Gazi University TÖMER Directorate before pre-registration. Candidates who do not possess at least a B2-level Turkish proficiency certificate should not be registered in the relevant graduate program. Students whose Turkish language proficiency is insufficient shall be granted a one-year period for a Turkish preparatory course at Gazi University TÖMER, and this period shall not be included in the maximum duration of the relevant program. The registration of candidates who fail to submit their certificate within the specified period for any reason, except for the excuses stated in the Gazi University Directive on Just and Valid Reasons, should be cancelled.

Bank Account for Examination and Evaluation Fee: International candidates are required to deposit the evaluation fee of $100 into the account specified below and upload the receipt to the application system.
Financial Provisions ARTICLE 13-(1) The examination fee and examination procedures evaluation fee to be collected shall be deposited into the accounts determined by the University Revolving Fund Management Directorate in accordance with Article 58 of Law No. 2547.
Our international candidates are required to deposit the application fee of $100 into the account specified below and upload the receipt to the application system.
When depositing your fee, you need to write: "First Name Last Name, Institute of Neurosciences and Neurotechnology 2026-2027 FALL SEMESTER Application Fee" in the explanation section and sign it.

If the application is invalid or the candidate is not admitted, no refund will be issued. For this reason, it is strongly advised not to deposit the fee without thoroughly reviewing the special requirements of the program applied for.
►Since detailed information and potential modifications regarding the admission process to graduate programs will be announced on the websites of the Institutes, interested parties are required to follow these pages regularly. The responsibility for missing documents and false declarations rests with the candidate. In this case, even if enrollment has been processed, the candidate's registration will be cancelled.
► IMPORTANT WARNING! For a while, emails dispatched from gazi.edu.tr domains belonging to our university have failed to deliver to accounts with Hotmail, MSN, and Outlook extensions. Kindly refrain from using these email addresses during your registration for the application system.

10-For candidates applying to Turkish-medium programs, a Turkish proficiency certificate of at least B2 level, if available, obtained before the application date from Turkish Language Teaching, Application and Research Centres (TÖMER) of state universities and approved by Gazi TÖMER

15) Students who hold dual citizenship or who acquire Turkish citizenship after enrollment will continue their studies under the status they had at the time of enrollment; this status cannot be changed.
16) Admitted students who lack a B2-level Turkish proficiency certificate must present a proficiency certificate indicating at least a B2 level, issued by Gazi University TÖMER within two semesters at the latest. Otherwise, their connection to the program will be severed.
Note: Following the submission of their graduate applications through the online system between June 01, 2026, and June 19, 2026, international candidates' applications will be approved provided that they submit the original copies of their documents to the Institute in person or via a notarized power of attorney by June 22, 2026.
